HAMMER ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES

ALASKA'S FIRST PRIVATELY OWNED, PUBLICLY AVAILABLE UVOST PROVIDER

Hammer Environmental Services is a new Environmental Drilling company; created to provide investigative services for petroleum contaminated sites using the UltraViolet Optical Screening Tool (UVOST).  The UVOST offers site managers and property owners efficient subsurface plume delineations of petroleum contaminated soil using real-time data acquisitions with detection levels of <100ppm.  Follow the link to the right titled 'UVOST' to learn more about what it does, how it works, and what it offers to the environmental community.

In addition to the UVOST, Hammer Environmental Services offers services for traditional contaminated site investigations using a GeoProbe 6610DT Direct-Push Drilling unit.  Although direct-push drilling has some limitations in regards to power and sample collection at significant depths (>50ft), it's rapid collection of shallow soil samples (<20ft) and it's ability to get to difficult or smaller areas makes it an ideal tool for most site investigations.  Direct-push drilling can also efficiently install smaller groundwater monitoring wells, 1.5-inch inside diameter or smaller.
